A couple of years ago I was riding through some neighborhood outside of Wilmington (going to pick up some chick my friend met on Myspace) and I saw a stainless steel slow cooker on the side of the road with a sign that said "free." It was still in the original box and must have been brand new by the way the cord was wrapped up and everything. Needless to say I grabbed it.

Today I'm cooking some bigass chunk of beef (a top roid or something) with carrots, potatoes, asparagus, and celery. Last week it was pulled pork in a vinegar sauce. OMG what will be next???

I think this is the superior method of cooking for bachelors. Put a bunch of food in there, press the button for 4, 6, or 8 hours, and let it do it's thing. I have yet to be disappointed.

hell yea i love my crock pot...

$1 Barbeque sauce
$3 2lbs Country Style Pork Ribs
add some water

go to class/work

come home to a house baked in the smell of america

Just don't pull the lid off until you're ready to eat. Learned this with Corned beef and cabbage. Lets all the heat out and makes it tough.

I just had stew for lunch that slowcooked all day yesterday.

Try a package of 15 bean soup in it-follow bean directions though and cook it for ~10 hours
