I'm up here on the 5th floor studying, and there are some people stuck in the back elevators. Apparently there is a technician on the way and the security lady is keeping them company.

I heard them for like 15 minutes before I went to investigate and some guy told me there were people stuck in the elevator. If you're ever stuck in an elevator it might be a good idea to yell "help" or scream or something. I'm right around the corner and all I heard were some girls laughing.

I hope they get out before their exams.

p.s. Wouldn't it be hilarious if I was the one stuck, and I was posting on TWW from inside the elevator. I can totally see some TWW'ers doing that.

i think it would be awesome to get stuck in an elevator, provided there are hot chicks for company.

I was stuck in a elevator in the parking deck on centennial campus like a year ago.

I hit the Press for Emergency button and was connected to campus police.

When I said I was stuck in the Partners III Deck elevator they hung up on me. Bitches.

I had to hit again and explain before they believed me. Guess they thought I was joking.

They got out a few minutes ago. I wanted to see what they looked like, but I guess the elevator went down to the 4th floor. I'm going home.

For some reason, I've always wanted to get stuck in an elevator once in my life. You know, as long as it doesn't last too long.

Quote :
"White never went back to work at the magazine. Caught up in media attention (which he shunned but thrilled to), prodded by friends, and perhaps provoked by overly solicitous overtures from McGraw-Hill, White fell under the sway of renown and grievance, and then that of the legal establishment. He got a lawyer, and came to believe that returning to work might signal a degree of mental fitness detrimental to litigation. Instead, he spent eight weeks in Anguilla. Eventually, Business Week had to let him go. The lawsuit he filed, for twenty-five million dollars, against the building’s management and the elevator-maintenance company, took four years. They settled for an amount that White is not allowed to disclose, but he will not contest that it was a low number, hardly six figures. He never learned why the elevator stopped; there was talk of a power dip, but nothing definite. Meanwhile, White no longer had his job, which he’d held for fifteen years, and lost all contact with his former colleagues. He lost his apartment, spent all his money, and searched, mostly in vain, for paying work. He is currently unemployed."
