CP3 got jobbed. Royally. The guy scored 20+ points per game and led the league in both assists and steals, all while lifting a team to the playoffs that basically nobody had going there in October. His play is a major reason why the stands are full at the New Orleans Arena every night and he didn't bitch like a 7-year-old during the offseason. This is almost worse than Nash getting it over Kobe.

idk i guess since i grew up in the jordan era i always feel as though the mvp award should go to the like best player...like kobe is on that top tier and then everyone is at least slightly below him

MVP is not for the best 1-on-1 player. It's for the most valuable player. And this year Kobe has finally been a guy that makes his teammates better and leads his team to victory.

Yeah, if they based MVP on who would win in 1 on 1, Steve Nash wouldn't have got it twice.

Maybe they should have a one-on-one trophy, and have a tournament to determine the champion. That'd be awesome.
