oh shit, good idea. That would solve another problem that's been driving me nuts... one of my cats likes to scratch the rim of the litter box and it's annoying as hell.

This will decrease the amount that mine swat on the floor by at least 80%, AND as a added bonus they will not be able swat litter into the water bowl anymore.

i already use one of those for my cat. except it doesn't have a big hole in it because my cat isn't an idiot, she can jump in. it keeps her from digging the litter out onto the floor and playing in it.

exactly what i said!! cats can jump. if my cat had that one with the huge hole in the side, it wouldn't prevent her from digging the litter out onto the floor anymore than those tiny litter boxes
