mine was practically a solid block of ice

i've been chipping away at it and slowly defrosting it for a weekish now and its mostly done but theres still the sides and bottom to deice

^^ if you dont mind a mess, pour water in it. water will make ice melt faster. oh, and make sure the freezer is off and you leave it open

yeah mines been frozen open before i just unplugged it took it outside and left the door open and it was clear in about 4 hours

No no no, you leave the fridge at the apartment, you just let it thaw out and dry out (and clean out any shit from inside of it) so when the power is shut off at your place the shit doesn't melt and spill everywhere and cause water damage or something.

i just put it in the shower and poured hot water in it (using a cup i'm not stupid) and drained it out that way
