This new sports museum opened up this past week in lower Manhattan. Its a pretty sweet place and I spent a lot of time in the building as my company had the contract to install all the HVAC equipment. Its in a national landmark building on Broadway just down from the Bull. $27 is pretty damn pricey for a museum, but maybe its worth it.

If you're a sports fan and swinging through NYC you'd probably want take a peek.

It'd be worth the money just to see the fine HVAC installation work in the building
haha, but for real what could they possible put in there to make this worth it
i mean its not like a space shuttle museaum

Yeah I don't really know. They've got Olympic stuff, and Heismen stuff, blah blah blah.

I'd rather go to the Sex Museum in NYC. It's pretty cheap and entertaining too.

They were talking about this on my way in to work today on the morning sports talk show... mentioned that the opening was a disaster because they couldn't get the heat to shut off and it was pushing 95 in the museum...

^I heard that too. A lot of heat-sensitive documents were ruined. There were a couple of priceless mitts that cracked, as well as the first football ever used in the NFL. That Honus Wagner tobacco card shriveled up to nothing.

They probably have a lot of stuff on loan from every sport's HOF and private collectors at different times.
