Just keeping an eye open for the photographer's timing - when a flash goes off I check everything for posture/angles/eye contact/hand placement/etc. Working with models who don't hold their position for very long has always been fun for me - you've gotta go with the flow I guess, and learn to recognize a good photo immediately. I feel the same way about reception dancing, sometimes they move so quickly it's like shooting randomly at first, but then you can really learn to predict their moves and be right on the ball.
