I really liked part 1. I've become very anti-religion recently and the first part just backed up and gave more evidence for views I already had.

Parts 2 and 3 were a little more hard to believe for me, though I feel that passing them off as crazy conspiracy theories might be playing into the hands of those who would rather us think they weren't true.

Discuss.

I haven't seen it yet. It sounds like a waste of time.

Zeitgeist sidesteps such logical questions through the use of the all-purpose term, “the elite,” a shadowy group of rich and powerful men who want nothing more than to enslave humanity and reap block-buster profits through the promotion of wars and financial crises."

I originally heard about it here: http://apologetics.com/audio/02_23_08.mp3 They make all of the movie's arguments sound pretty pathetic. I might watch the movie now, just so I can laugh at it (the same way I would laugh at Loose Change).

Wow! Copying the format of my comment to mock me! You're clearly an original thinker!

See, we can do this all day.

Why are you anti-religion?

More conspiracy theory about how the banks control america, but not from an anti-religious, ad homin-ous, or partisan perspective... So, I appreciated it a little more.

Don't confuse being anti-religion, to be against the existence of Jesus as a historical figure. The constructs of men supposedly following his teaching have failed time and time again, and in some cases had disastrous effects on the world around them. For these reasons, I can understand being anti-religion in general.

Some of those some constructs (read: the church) have also done tremendous good, in the lives of men and women the world over.

But the Jesus myth hypothesis is regarded as a joke to most biblical scholars and historians... Don't let an internet video keep you from doing your own research

I won't comment on the 9/11 conspiracy theories, I think those are pretty well handled all over the place... I will say, however, that some of the commentary on the banking industry is interesting... if a little overstated.
