I was on Ocracoke once over the summer a few years ago and I met these guys who were friends with my friend. One guy named David was sort of a lush and decided to play power hour with a fifth of Gordon's Vodka. They had this tiny room around the back of the Island Inn, and almost everything in the room was covered with hurl. He dry heaved for almost two hours after he ran out of puke. To this day I have never seen someone so violently ill.
