so i can think of at least 3 ways to cook a hot dog: grill, oven, boiling in water

i can think of like 5 different kinds of ballpark brand hotdogs, and like 5 or 6 total brands(not off the top of my head...i just know there is like 5 or 6 brands), like the big ones(oscar meyer, ballpark) and some lesser known brands that i've never wanted to try cause they were too "obscure" for me to try over the name brand

so i was just wondering your preferences for hotdogs...like how you cook and what brand you buy and if you know any of the lesser known brands that are good...i have gwaltney hotdogs that i'm about to try

ps- whats up with those pink hot dogs...i have maybe one ever 3 years but they are pretty good

Grilled Nathan's Famous (bigger than the bun variety) with ketchup, mustard, sweet relish, and sauteed onions.

i have. one time i bought the Hebrew Kosher Beef Pigs in a Blanket. you cook them in the oven at 350 for like 10 minutes. they come out like gourmet.

THE JEWS REVOLUTIONIZED THE HOT DOG AS WE KNOW IT !

i used to only like them boiled when i was little. ok slash until i was like 16.

now i like grill BUT not black on the outside. i think the only reason i didn't like the grill is because my dad would always make them black and leathery on the outside. i know lots of people dig. i do not.

and i think i like ballpark but i don't know. i do not like the red ones that is for sure.

Actually deep fried hot dogs are really really good. They get a nice crispy outside that make them different than grilled hot dogs. I dont do it all the time, but they are great to do every now and then.

i cook hot dogs in the oven on broil. i just crumple up some aluminum foil then unfold it and flatten it out so it's got all kinds of texture. then drop the hot dogs on there for like 5-6 minutes rolling them over every now and then to get them all crispy. that's the jam!

^^ hahah. those ones they sell outside lowes on the weekend are awesome!

I like the kosher ones (Hebrew National). I feel like I'm not eating as many random beef parts.

I like one with slaw and shredded cheese and one with ketchup, mustard, and relish.

I always thought slaw on hot dogs was really strange, but the other day I was eating slaw and a (veggie) dog at the same time and figured I'd try it. Damn, that really is good.

All The Way - chili, slaw, mustard, onions, and occasionally (mainly at a ballgame) cheese, relish, and whatever else they have on the available toppings.

ballpark (not the brand - the place you get them) dogs are their own food group.
