http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820609291

It's got pretty much all I want:
4 gig
200x speed
retractable (or some way to keep up with cap)
lanyard
not $texas

.....but 0 reviews on newegg.com

Does anyone have experience with this brand? Will it break after being breathed on?

honestly? i have (literally) 6 or 7 flash drives, from name brand to free-after-rebate no-name ones...some of them are 3 or 4 years old and they're just fine

you're probably good

Dang that is cheap. I remember when a 1 GIG HD was a big achievement, now I am looking for an 8 or 16 gig compact flash card...........

Ironically how much space do you NEED on a thumbdrive?

i got a 2gb for $12. can't remember what kind. i use it for work stuff and it's not at the house. it's good size; 4gb would be more than enough for what i use it for.

That looks like a pretty sweet deal

But I'm disturbed by the lack of information on google about this brand.

Here's the website

I might actually get the pico C

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820609295

It's smaller plus it's water resistant, and it looks like you can put it on a keychain more easily.

But I wonder if the weight of my keys pulling down on it would pull it out of a USB drive, considering it's not got the outside "box" part of a usb plug.

Super Talent is a reputable memory manufacturer. It's what I run overclocked in my desktop with no problems.

Just got it in.

Tiny, feels like it's solidly constructed, fast read/write speed, and holds firmly in place in the USB port.

It's pretty too. Back side is solid metallic.

Plus the metal keychain is a plus, I got an OCZ roadster last year which was pretty sweet and almost as small, but the freaking plastic keychain ring broke off in like 2 weeks, so I lose the thing for months at a time before finding and using for a week or so, then losing it again. It's still probably floating around my house somewhere.

Same here. I had one of the 1st gen ones and lost it, now have a 2GB model. Indestructible, or close to it. Just ordered a bunch at work to replace the raggedy assortment of old flash drives that the staff are using now, and a 4GB for myself so I can stop carrying my personal drive to work.

My girlfriend has one of those tiny little ones, I don't think it's the same manufacturer as the one here though. I was kinda skeptical but it's held up well so far.
