I think i learned that years ago, but i don't remember it now.

but i learn so many intros and don't bother with the rest of the song.

and then songs like "What I got" by sublime, where the bridge is pretty awesome, but the rest of the guitar in it is pretty boring.

glad i'm not the only one that did this. i've been playing well over 15 years now,but whenever someone says play something i'd recognize, i'm always like "wut? "

and then i play the intro to sweet home alabama.

Yep, but Mike McCready makes him hold his dirty laundry during Yellow Ledbetter. Thats his show.

"Hangar 18" intro by Megadeth (pretty much gets super hard after Marty Friedman gets going)
"Unholy Confessions" by Avenged Sevenfold
"Mississippi Queen" intro by Mountain (gets kinda boring after wards)

As the knife got deeper
I won't go without a fight
And you know the price you'll pay
That price is with your life
Suffering and pain
Like nothing in your past
I walk the walk, and my path
will be your last

Path will be your fuckin....Last

The second Spacehog album (The Chinese Album) is great from start to finish. The first one has four or five good songs on it, but "In the Meantime" is by far the best. I played it at the bar on Wednesday and everyone went nuts singing along...it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

^^ What was the fear factory song on one of the Test Drive games? I think the video was on it. It was bad ass

And I remember you making fun of my friends listening to Limp on maiden Lane back in the day

Test Drive 5 (1998)
Hot on the heels of the success of Test Drive 4 came Test Drive 5. It was very similar to its predecessor, but more polished, and had a wider selection of cars. Although it sold over one million units, it received low ratings. It featured a soundtrack including groups such as KMFDM, Fear Factory, and Pitchshifter. This soundtrack is still very popular and acclaimed among fans, making one of the better rock soundtracks in videogame history. As in TD6, the console versions featured both instrumental and lyric versions of almost all tracks (as well as a hidden music video, Replica by Fear Factory).
Soundtrack Listing
Gravity Kills - Falling
KMFDM - Anarchy
Pitchshifter - Genius
Pitchshifter - WYSIWYG
Junkie XL - Def Beat
Fear Factory - 21st Century Jesus
Fear Factory - Genetic Blueprint
Gravity Kills - Falling (Dub)
KMFDM - Megalomaniac (Dub)
Pitchshifter - Genius (Dub)
Pitchshifter - Microwaved (Dub)
Pitchshifter - WYSIWYG (Dub)

oddly enough the mudvayne song that's on nfsu2 is playing on the metal channel

LB's first album was fine, and this is a guitar riff thread so i am actually referring to Wes Borland's riffs*, not the overall song/band.

however these guys (im guessing the 2nd house on the right) would listen to significant other at 4am in 2-3 cars at once as loud as it could go while jungle gym'ing everything they could clamber onto whilst screaming at the top of their lungs.

yea just saw the replica video thing a little further down the page
and yea i did make fun of them - LB isn't a good band overall, and to listen to more than occasionally and only at a low volume is laughable these days. 3 dolla bill, yall was a great guitar album, and the aggression any band has on their first album was there, but once their second album hit the shelves they were done.

you guys are wrong.

the answer was Holy Wars... The Punishment Due - Megadeth.

also
The end of Aqua Dementia by Mastodon.
Into the pit - Testament. Thrashtacular.

Sweet Leaf was also an acceptable answer.

You Really Got Me is Dave Davies' riff.

It's Dave Davies' sound.

Dave Davies invented heavy metal.
