Probably. I've always been able to buy single torx sockets at Lowes or Home Depot for ~$4 each when I needed something oddball. 5/16/2008 12:31:53 PM |

yeah. home depot, lowes, harbor frieight, ace, autozone, advance, sears
if you havnt already checked those places.
if you find a torx that big, you could use it as your last resort if whatever you are removing is not frozen on there. ive used plenty of torx bits on allen bolts. just gotta be careful. but for sure try to get the right part

i've taken a 3/4" head bolt and welded another nut onto the end. ghetto fixed ftw! if you can't find one i'm sure i have a bolt we can make that out of haha 5/16/2008 1:03:05 PM |

^ditto
if you have a bolt and two nuts, then you can counter tighten the nuts and then put a ratchet on the nut side while using the bolt head as the allen to turn ur fastener, no welding required 5/16/2008 1:23:56 PM |

It was for a fork cap on my motorcycle. I ended up taking it to a shop. Some of the other stuff was all on too tight, so I gave up. Plus I'm going out of town today and I really just wanted it done. ^but thanks anyways. 5/17/2008 7:13:07 AM |
