anyone have one? ive had my pc for about 3 years and i lost my boot disk. my shit crashed last night. I'll come pick it up where ever you are

The vaio recovery discs are particular to the model.

find a normal OS disk

use a little common sense

^yea ive already done that fucktard, so i know i need the drivers to be reinstalled and it is going to take more than a normal OS disk

im gonna take a wild guess here that they have all the drivers you'll ever need on the sony website

all i have is a cpu at work.

if i dl the software from the site, it doesnt run automatically on the disc it was burnt on. so fuck off again

Limpy is correct. You need to get the factory recovery disc for your model, you might have to call sony and order one or buy it online. its usually a good idea to make the recovery discs before your hard drive crashes.

look man, just get one of your tech inclined friends to fix this for you.

i've rebuilt a number of sony vaio laptops, using nothing other than a plan ol windows xp disc and the downloaded drivers from sony's website. it's really pretty simple for people who are used to doing it.
