he got called up for one game iirc. Don't think it will happen this time-the backup he was called up for is coming off the DL today or tomorrow.

yeah he was called up when michael barrett got hurt early april and even started a game i think, but was sent down a few weeks ago

i think barrett was coming back soon anyway, but now they'll probably keep the other guy up (who would've been sent down if bard hadn't gotten hurt) instead of colt who wasn't hitting (but neither are any of the other padres, so...)
