^i have a friend that does that...it used to freak me out when we went on trips because she would come out of the shower with the towel on her head and sit on the end of the bed and put her socks on....then just chill out watching tv with just a towel on her head and socks on

i usually have to hunt for socks so they are the last thing on, and then the first thing off since i probably had to recycle a pair i had previously worn and they get stank.

yeah... socks last because I hate putting on socks when my feet are still wet from the shower, i usually get dressed, all but socks. Then walk around and get my other things ready, let the feet air out some.


Then when I get home, I kick my shoes off and take the socks off my feet sweat a lot

but not really, i always put my socks on last. usually not until im about to walk right out the door. But now that its warmed up i wear loafers sans socks. (unless im out at the jobsite then its socks and boats and sweaty feet)

Do most of you people have feet that are really that dirty that you worry about this? Plus, shower -> get dressed. if your feet are dirty after your shower, you are doing it wrong.

if you've got something going on with your feet that's bad enough that you're concerned about clothing passing by them on the way to your junk..... there's some other issues that need to be addressed

Pants first. I'm not a big fan of socks, so I usually reserve putting them on until immediately before I put my shoes on. If it's warm outside and I'm going somewhere other than work, I often wear sandals anyway, so no socks required.

hooksaw, I'm not sure about this crusade of yours for socks to prevent disease. In my 27.5 years on this earth, I've had neither jock itch nor athlete's foot, so I figure I've been doing things more or less right up to this point.
