Groundhog's Day 2: Phil can't cope with not knowing everything and starts beating his wife. He goes back to Punxsutawney to try and rediscover the magic, but gradually goes insane and dies. Maybe tie in some way for him to end up being the old man from the old movie

Freddy versus Jason 2

Ash from the Evil Dead trilogy shows up in the first 5 minutes. As he awakens from a Freddy haunted dream just in time to survive, Jason is above him and pummels him with a hatchet. This gives all the fanboys their "Ash" character, and kills him off satisfyingly enough to where people who don't know or give a shit about him aren't distracted by stupid cheesy antics and overrated catchphrases.


After that, the battle ensues even more. Michael Myers shows up. Gets pummeled. Pinhead shows up. Gets pummeled. Scream-mask kid shows up. Gets pummeled. Freddy and Jason destroy all horror icons only to get killed in the end by a werewolf and a vampire, setting up Universal's reboots of Dracula and the Wolfman.
