140. And that was before the engine swap
I can get to 140 a helluva lot faster now, but until I get that 951 tranny, my ratio's are holding my car back After the tranny upgrade, the car will be able to go 180+ at redline (calculated). I dare not take that on public roads.

S2000: 145mph CBR600RR: Slightly higher than 134mph (trap speed in quarter mile at drag strip was 134, kept going for a bit) Civic: 120mph-ish on the long straight at VIR (all she would give in 5th gear, lol)
RX-7 I was riding in with an instructor at VIR hit ~160mph (monster car, completely built with single turbo, ~400rwhp, stripped interior with cage, etc). I wasn't driving though 5/28/2008 10:25:51 AM |

Fastest verified was 164 on the GPS back 6 or so years ago. LT1 Z28, was mildly modded at the time. Might have gone faster than that at one time or another, but never had a GPS or other reliable measuring device with me.

I wouldn't say that...although the vast majority of TWWers are dumb and irresponsible when it comes to driving fast. But a few TWWers keep it on track.
fastest I've driven:
135+ mph at VIR 130? mph at Rockingham almost 140 mph at Roebling Rd.
250km/h on the autobahn
Fastest I've ridden in a car:
160ish

I've ridden @ 176 in a c4 vette ... on the digi speedo so i don't know how accurate that is but thats what it said.
and i think I've driven faster in a C5r (not factory sponsored but dealership owned & raced)... it only had a tach and i have no idea of the gear ratios + i'm sure things seem faster when you're in an aluminum interior w/ nothing else but a shifter a tach some toggle switches etc. and the noise... ohh i loved the noise... 5/28/2008 11:53:43 AM |

Tuite and i built one that would go about 35-40mph. i guess it wasn't technically a lawnmower anymore, we removed the deck and put on a horizontal shaft engine from an old generator. the chassis was all stock though except for cutting down the seat mount and steering column. it was a blast to ride around the parking lot at university house. 5/28/2008 5:21:35 PM |

Fastest in the last month? I'm not even sure if I've hit 80 mph in the past month. Speeding ticket at the end of April has turned me into a "set cruise at 72" kind of driver. 5/28/2008 5:29:45 PM |
