That simply everything plan seems enticing.. $99 for everything... my phone bill is already $99 and i have 0 data plan.... i'm wondering if it includes tethering too?

Anyway, Sprint people, how is your cell coverage?

it doesn't technically include tethering but there are a number of ways around it depending on the phone

coverage from any of the major networks in cities is roughly the same now - the only noticeable differences typically are the phone you have and how good of an antenna/radio firmware it has

data speed is different - there was a comparison done recently (can't find the link) that i believe placed at&t 1st and sprint was in 3rd (until they roll out "4g" later this year) - be aware that sprint is in the process of changing their TOS so that "unlimited data" = 5gb - this is what that the other majors have already done and sprint is more or less following suit

its actually 92 with taxes included and unlimited text.
900 min.. and no i don't use it but I'm afraid i use more then 450 and if i down grade i lose my 7000 rollover minutes. but i guess i don't cause i have 7000 rollover minutes and would only be losing 5400 minutes per year.

if you are just moving over then you could possibly get a cheaper plan than the $99/unlimited if you really don't use that many minutes nor need all of the extras

i'm thinking he has at&t. that would explain why hes asking about sprints coverage (and the rollover)

you know you can actually keep rollover minutes when you downgrade plans...you just have to argue a little bit to do it. they used to do it by default, but then started taking them away a couple years ago. i think it took me two separate calls the at&t customer service (and speaking with supervisors), but I kept most of my rollover minutes (~2500) when I went down in plans.

and yeah theres no reason to pay for an unlimited plan if you aren't going to use gobs of minutes. my iphone plan has 450 peak minutes (5000/unlimited nights and weekend) and "unlimited data" for $60 per month. unless you REALLY need the peak minutes there's no reason to pay $100 a month for cell plan

love sprint's prices and coverage

phones are the shittiest, comparatively, but i put up with it to get cheap data rates and family plans

htc makes both the tilt and sprints top of the line... so it can't be that terrible.

The HTC-6800/Sprint Mogul is a nice phone (I have one) but falls short of the Tilt in a few areas (screen does not tilt, GPS absent or disabled, 2MP camera vs. 3 for Tilt, slightly slower processor). It's not bad by any means, but it comes up a little short compared to a Tilt or iPhone.

you should just upgrade your ROM - another update is coming in june that will upgrade it to WM6.1 if you don't watch to kitchen your device before then - i've had gps on my mogul since last year...

the amount of ram is half of what the tilt has - that is the largest shortcoming

You say you use less than 900 minutes a month. Sprint actually has an "Everything 900" plan that's basically the same as Simply Everything except with only 900 minutes of talk time and it costs $10 less.

edit: Eh, never mind, if you're concerned about your rollover you're probably willing to spend a few extra bucks for unlimited.
