My girlfriend and I are looking at getting some mountain bikes, figured I would check here in case anyone is looking to sell. For the rack it could be hitch, truck bed, trunk, or roof mounted. Let me know what you have. 6/1/2008 3:06:16 AM |

^Hey, yeh we still have all the furniture. the FS webpages aren't finished yet and i havent really posted em up anywhere. I'll add some pics up soon. Like the bikes, we'd have to hold off a few weeks on selling the furniture. 6/1/2008 12:38:07 PM |

for truck bed, just get a 2x4 that fits in the slots made for them in the sides of the bed and mount 2 of those those things that hook into the forks on it

^ IT'S A PICKUP TRUCK. IT DOENS NEED NO STINKIN MOUNTS if you get a run of the mill bike, toss it there and call it a day,
if your bike/truck nice enough to care about, get a 4-piece set of tie-downs from walmart or from Joel, and strap em in by looping the tie-downs around the handle grip and hooking it around itself, then slightly compressing front fork by strapping to the front two loops, two straps per bike. no need to remove any wheels, takes 10 seconds flat, and no damage to the bike or the truck. use the pull-type tie-downs as opposed to the ratchet type, it does not take much force at all to hold a bike solid dteady, but save you a ton of time can carry 2-3 bikes in the s10 that way without touching each other, and place to spare for the rest of the gear 6/2/2008 10:52:35 PM |

When I drive my Accord I'll need a trunk mount, so if anyone has one of those let me know.
