yeah, most times the electronic way doesn't work. especially in NYC. its sort of like Miami. employers want to make sure you're thin and don't have any deformaties. it's fucked up, but employers want attractive people in major cities. or at least that's what i found.
my first job in Miami was for a dumb ass company that i landed over the internet, but i remember showing up after i got the job offer over email, etc . . . and I had one in person interview. i recall the interviewers saying, "and your good-looking too . . .
