I had a golden retriever when I was back in FL. It would get so damn hot over the summer that my mom would shave the dog. She would always leave a stripe of hair down it's back like a mohawk and a puff of hair at the end of her tail. We left hair around her neck just for pictures because she looked so much like a lion but we shaved that off b/c it was too hot.
