i honestly and truly do not understand miscarriages. my grandmother, who had a miscarriage, does not understand them either. she told me whenever she tells (or told, rather, as it's not exactly a conversation piece these days) people she had one they would get really sympathetic and whatnot, and she wasn't really sure why.

I rarely laugh at CAD comics. Penny Arcade usually at least musters a snicker.

the only thing i know about penny arcade is that there was a guy in my history class that wore the same penny arcade shirt every day

it was pretty obnoxious

I don't get why a miscarriage is such a big deal. I guess people get all hyped up about having a kid.

My cousin had one and was really upset/depressed for several weeks.

They had been trying for a baby for over a year before though.

[Edited on June 2, 2008 at 4:02 PM. Reason : She popped out a kid not too long afterwards tho, so it's all good]

I've read CAD since day one, and I'll probably always read it. I even bought the books and D-Pad comics.

Enh, 8-Bit has been going downhill for years. Or maybe we're just now noticing that it wasn't that funny to begin with. Sure, it was nice, it got us into webcomics in the first place, but his written work is better. Read Nuklear Age, forget nuklearpower.
That have not been listed yet:
http://www.giantitp.com/ (DnD stick figures. Best thing on the internet right now.)
http://www.somethingpositive.net/ (Been going strong for a long time, even if it's not the most regular updating.)
http://www.goblinscomic.com/ (Only updates about once a week, but fantastic quality.)
http://www.drmcninja.com/ (Just...read it.)
http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/ (Really, read all of Studio Foglio's stuff, it's great!)
http://www.megatokyo.com/ (If you haven't read this, you're living under a rock.)
http://www.shadowgirlscomic.com/ (Lots of violence, rampant near-nudity, professional comic book quality.)
http://www.redstring.strawberrycomics.com/ (A bit girlier, but professional quality manga, and follows the level of story you would expect out of a syndicated manga.)
http://www.lastblood.net/ (Read all of their stuff. Last Blood doesn't update very often, though.)
http://www.pennyandaggie.com/ (VERY girly, teenage angsty, but very well done.)
