I mirrored all of them I guess a couple weeks before the site moved over, and I probably have a copy of yours if it's between 478976-493160. Unfortunately 493161-494871 is the range of pics added after I mirrored it. 494872 is the first new picture since the data loss.

PM me and I'll check... or if anyone official actually wants to restore the missing pics I have, I can make them available.

^ yes, you can sift through 23GB of jpeg files, it's only 493160 images

or I guess if you can give me a reasonably tight range of dates I can send you all the pictures added within those ranges, as the files appear to have correct dates.

in theory they could merge into the current database the deleted gallery items from a backup of the database coinciding with restored image files and everything would be peachy

I was thinking about making a different interface for the gallery where shit could be tagged and (now that I've noticed the dates are accurate) viewed in chronological order, so I could find all the pics with / about / involving me, by having other people tag them for me

it occurred to me after someone showed me some random pictures of me at a party I didn't even know existed, lol

i'll see if i can write a script that will go to users galleries, find the pics that are 404'd, and spit out a list of numbers... or if you upload the pics, it will spit out all of their lost pics that it can find...

evan - if I wanted web space, I'd open port 80, but thanks... also, if you even read the thread, you may notice that I already bothered to find the missing range of pictures, being as it took about a minute to do a binary search manually

and for all of this qntmfred worship, I still haven't received a PM from him or anyone else interested in the mindnumbingly, less than* minimum wage curry monkey trivially task of extracting an archive of images into the images folder
