Can you audit this class before u take it? Will an audit show on your transcript?

^^yeah, audit will appear on your transcript but it's not really looked at. If you get a NR (no credit received) it's not like getting an F. Audit just means you had some interest in the class and took it but didn't want the grade points.

I'd recommend auditing courses that you think you need previous exposure to before taking the course for a grade. You can get access to the homework problems and all exams if you audit, and this gives you a good idea about what it's going to be like when you're taking it for credit.

i never understood the point in auditing a class? i mean.. why not just sit in on it.. unless the professor is one of those super anal pre exam id checkers... who cares you just won't see your tests graded but you could keep them and that could be even better.

^if quizzes or hw assignments were on vista/webassign/etc you wouldnt have access to them.

in all honesty, if you need to audit this class before you take it for a grade, you've got some hard times coming your way.
