then i think all the late model blackberrys do. my pearl does so it would follow that the curve would as well

yeah i hate the adapter i have to use. I just ended up getting a stereo bluetooth headset so i don't even have to deal with an adapter or wires.

But there are a few smartphones that have 3.5mm plugs. The new Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 which i really really want has one, not to mention it has a 3g 7.2 Mbps connection which is fast. Plus a 800 by 480 display and full qwerty keyboard.

um off the top of my head the nokia n95 has a 3.5mm jack. The samsung instinct has one too i believe. So does the Palm centro. I think most nicer smartphones/pocketpcs have a 3.5mm jack.

i'd wait until some nicer phones come out like the Sony xperia x1. The tilt is nice but its still got a low res 320 by 240 display. Pdas and phones have been stuck on 320 by 240 forever. I want my next phone to be atleast 640 by 480 or 800 by 480. Even the iphones 480 by 320 is kinda sad. My sony clie pda from like 2002 has a 480 by 320 display.
