I usually try to avoid listening to the artist's music I'm going to see right before the show. There are plenty of other songs to get drunk to.

I know a lot of you don't like Jimmy Buffett, and I respect that because I hate a lot of your music as well, but I have been a Parrot Head for as long as I remember. Here is my playlist, but also I don't recommend being that guy who blares the music from his truck in the parking lot right before the show.

i actually thoroughly enjoy Buffett, and have been attending his concerts since the first time I went to one back in 97/98 when he played carter finley

but if you're not just throwing in Boats, Beaches, Bars and Ballads and worrying more about how to keep the margarita ice cold, youre just not doing it right

For the haters out there. Maybe you should have came out to see the concert and experience the environment then come back here and hate on it. You are talking about old, young, new, old. You are talking making friends with everyone there. Seeing things that I can't even explain here. Getting fucked up is just part of what will happen to any of us if we had been drinking all day long. Only thing is you can and get to do it with people on the board of Bank Of America, CEOs of Carmaxx, head coaches of a college football team, a PWC Partner...numerous people who live ON lake norman and I could go on for days. These people work hard to play hard. Thats what I want my life to be like someday. Part of that is enjoying the things he sings about. haters.

actually, I don't own anything with buffet's name, or anything on it. except for the 15 or so songs I have on my computer. and 15 songs is hardly a huge playlist that would be listened to for 6 hours of tailgating. It was just enough so that when my mp3 player was on random, we got to hear a few, which is what we wanted.
