I absolutely HATE travel. and plus I've been asking for the details for like a week and a half. Idon't think its unreasonable to get this info by at least 2-3 business days before hand.
I really shouldn't even be traveling anyway, I'm not a damn support engineer I'm on the design side. 6/5/2008 11:04:12 PM |

I understand why people would want to travel but thats just not me, I like to see new shit but at the end of the day I just want to be in my own place, I'm OCD like that. Fucking hate hotels and airports. 6/5/2008 11:06:53 PM |

i hear ya 100%.
but every now and then i like to get out there. the only places i've traveled for work are clayton ( ) and apex (where i live anyway) so that's boring. 6/5/2008 11:09:18 PM |

I'll travel anywhere in USA/Canada without even thinking twice.
Bahamas think once.
Mexico think twice (unless it's a MAJOR tourist area).
Overseas think thrice (everything is $$$$$$$$$$).
You give me a fast internet connection and I'll work from anywhere. 6/5/2008 11:11:48 PM |

traveling for work is cool for about the first day or two a in new city. after that you realize that you are still getting up and going to work, but instead of going home, you get to go eat A) a crappy meal with people you don't want to be with or B) go eat a crappy meal alone, and then go sleep in the same bed that 1000s of others have slept in before you.
i was on the road ~50% last year and got burned out on the whole travel thing. it didn't help that much of that time was spent in texas.
