I've noticed recently when pressure is applied to a certain part of my right hand, I get this INCREDIBLY painful tingling/shocking feeling that shoots through the area and my fingers. It's an area on the palm about an inch below my middle finger and pointer. I first noticed it when I was using a pushup bar and shrugged it off as some weird temporary shit, but the other day I hit that area just right shifting gears in the car and it did the same thing. What's wrong w/ my hand

It's because you've been masturbating too often.

yeah the scientific approach would be to take a break from the activity that caused the pain in the first place, but let him have it Tdub

I'll stop lifting weights when it actually looks as if I've built the tiniest bit of muscle.

could be a hairline fracture of the 2nd or 3rd metacarpal

I had one in highschool where I broke my 3rd one playing catcher when the ball hit me square in the palm in the area with no padding

I didn't realize it till a few days later when I was playing Mercy and I could feel it crack further

Do pushups w/out a gimmacky bar. If you want to go deeper, put books/anything planar under your hands.

Just re-read, if it hurts BAD, lay off training, everything, and go to the doc

*shrug* was free and makes it easy to do deep pushups - otherwise i would have never used one

so i'll be laying off that shit for a few weeks and see how it goes. i'm never going to get any muscle definition

You're the one asking dumb questions. Can you not figure out the benefit of full range of motion, or are you jsut being fecicious?

i actually broke down and bought a set (got a good deal on it) and i love 'em

i used to do pushups every morning, so it was a step up from that, and it is alot better in the sense that it gets more muscle groups. I remember the day after doing it for the first time, i was actually sore in my neck, traps, back, and even a little in the biceps (something i had never experienced with standard pushups, or even medicine ball push ups)
