and i didnt really want to go far. so i looked into the wynn golf course, which is conveniently on the vegas strip... and its $500 for 18 holes.. WTF mate.

to compare, raleigh courses are like $25-50 (cheaper with student discount)... i'll just stay in and bet on 00

So find some half-abandoned golf course community to play at. Its Vegas, should be plenty.

How much were you expecting a course on the vegas strip to cost?

Depending on the type of room you get, how much you spend, or how well you play your cards, you might can get them to give you a deal on playing a round.

the $500 probably isn't firm if you know what you're doing.

i haven't been to vegas in over a year, and we usually stay at the bellagio, but i'd like to stay at the wynn the next trip out.

I'll tell ya something...I was not impressed with the Bellagio...I think my fave place to stay is Mandalay, and the Hotel...though when I'm in Vegas I kind of expect some cheeseyness in hotel rooms and the Hotel is very uncheesey

Depending on how much you plan to gamble, you might be able to get it comped. My boss was down there a few weeks ago for a bachelor party and got a round of golf comped, not sure which resort or casino though.

we were at treasure island, coming back tomorrow morning.

wynn is expensive no matter what you're doing.

maybe if i decide to cough up the dough to stay there, then ill cough up enough to play on the players club card enough times to get something comped
