My airbag light has been on for about a year. I tried checking the fuse because that was the only thing that was obvious to me....that was fine, so i'm not sure what could be causing it.

a) Will an obd 2 scan tool tell me why the airbag light is on, or will it not even register this since it isn't an emissions problem?
b) Any ideas what commonly causes these lights to go on?

It's a 2000 Daewoo Lanos if that helps...I have known another person who had a lanos and it had the airbag light on as well, for no apparent reason.

Any thoughts?
