brand nubian is some classic hip hop, that joint is from like 92 but yeah i like some funk...i guess i dont really have any james brown or p funk...i've got some J.B.s and some Maceo though, thats pretty damn funky

"The Trip" is a series of compilations released by a british record label. They get people in the music industry (the lead singer of Snow Patrol has done one, for example) to compile a two-disc list of whatever music they'd like, with no restrictions. The results are usually pretty interesting and coherant, even if you normally wouldn't like it.

I haven't bothered to find out who Tom Middleton is, but this shit is pretty listenable.

ive always respected peoples musical tastes

i think if you listen to something with open ears you have a much higher likelihood of enjoying it
