I'm familiar with distillation

a pot still is very easy but not a good thing to operate in a high-rise apartment in the city

Hey-O.

I gotta say, the stupid beer prices in the city have probably reduced the amount of beer I'd consume. So my body says thank you NYC.

I think "sauser" fails more

also, I can NOT drink at the Flying Saucer in Raleigh, NC for the same price
unless you can find me a fucking round trip ticket for under $10

dumb shit

did you move to a large city, snewf?

and to the person who commented abpit drinking gas.. this thread reminded me of something i heard on the radio yesterday.

APPARANTLY (as i didn't see it).... people in Utah are paying over 5 bucks a gallon to fill up, and have been. but they're using a natural gas product, and they're supposedly getting up to 90 miles per gallon. i heard some people are even homebrewing it.

like i said, no idea what the process is.. or what you have to modify on your car. hell, maybe nothing. i've had people tell me that some of the european cousins of our higher end cars get 50+mpg in europe

thanks, way off topic, im gonna go read about that and see how real it is

^the part about stuff in Utah I think is a bunch of BS. There's more truth to the cars in Europe. Most cars over there have serveral more engine options, including diesel engines. Some of these diesels can top 50mpg.

I've got 2 words for you. COAL GASIFICATION. Process of turning coal into gasoline and other fuels. We've got 35% of the world's coal supply. Do the math.

The smart car in the US doesn't even get more than 45mpg. I was NOT talking about that car. Its called DIESEL cars. New Accord diesel coming to the US will get around 50mpg. Of course, with diesel prices skyrocketing, i'm not seeing a great future here for diesels.
