was just in fayetteville last weekend....it strikes me as a place thats gonna vote about 80 percent john mccain...the person that took me there point blank told me there is nothing obama could say or do that would make him vote for him......i didnt say anything but on the inside i was so sad that people are like that...out of 2 people how can you not vote for either of them

i think its exactly the reasons i stated, since if ANY democratic president chose to re-enact the brady laws, it would ban magazines > 10 rounds, certain weapons, certain types of ammo, etc...the guy pictured is a business man and not only is he trying to cash in on current events, but he knows if the laws ARE re-enacted, it will hurt his business and make it illegal for him to sell some of his merchandise...i think you're completely over-reacting

i know about gun laws, and i know that the last time there was a democrat in office (clinton), he passed stricter gun laws...then the current president, who is a republican, repealed the laws...i'm sure there are people that believe that trend would continue if another democrat is elected president...and i know if potentially (rough estimate) 20-40% of the product I sold in my occupation to make a living could possibly be illegal to sell in less than a year, i'd probably consider trying to sell it sooner rather than later...i know i was in a gunshop a couple years ago after the democrats won congress and some of the employees were basically saying the same things, ie you may not be able to buy this for long, or if a democrat gets elected president their business will change...all of that with absolutely no mention of any particular candidate...at the time edwards was still a viable candidate...we can obviously agree to disagree but i think you're spinning the hell out of basically nothing

That seems like an interesting psychology experiment to see which meaning people derived from that picture. I interpreted that as a "fire sale" due to the fact that gun shows have been targeted for years by democrats and gun-control advocates, due to the easy availability of guns and lack of background checks at these events.

With Obama as President and a democrat controlled congress, there is a good chance these gun shows would be outlawed or severely restricted.

You people looking for racism in every nook and cranny need to take a deep breath and be patient, because there will be plenty of opportunities for your mock outrage when things heat up and republican talking heads really dig in. This isn't a good one though, since a rational person can see that the guy isn't advocating the assassination of Obama.
