i was there for dinner monday night

seems like its frequented by some insanely sketchy folks

but the food was pretty good

and yeah its a pretty narrow place

pizza is good, chicken parm sub is good (newcastle marinara ftw)

some of the owners/managers are dicks
you have to have patience... they will forget about your order at least 33% of the time, but you'll get it eventually.

Oh- and for a small bar, their draft selections aren't bad, but that's all opinion/taste.

and yes-- it's very narrow, especially when it's packed.

I've been on MANY MANY MANY occasions, different times of day, with different people.
Overall it is a pleasant experience... I'd recommend it over most places around NCSU...
BUT the truth of my experience is that at least one person in our group's order always gets forgotten...
And SOME of the owners/managers are dicks. I did not say ALL.

I went to the one in Cary the night before the "official" opening. As we were leaving, the owner came and spoke with us and asked how everything was. While talking, he mentioned that were trying to get an an 8 passenger golf cart make rounds at night between Ruckus and The Lodge/The Park. That'd be awesome, since I live at The Park.

That would be awesome, since I also live at the Park. I just got back from there in fact. Now that I think about it though, I think I could literally be blind, staggering drunk and still get from there to my apartment with zero problems.

the staff at new ruckus is quick, friendly and for the most part very attractive
