Dass what I'm gonna do.

Any objections?

(I'm on a network so I would NORMALLY just send the data over to another comp and burn it there, but that comp's burner doesn't work either...)

I just need to send photos to my clients via CD-R, that's all I use this thing for.

I guess if I buy a new burner it would be a good tax-write off. I've just wasted half my stack of CD-Rs because of corrupted discs....

Can't wait to see her reaction. I'm doing a 5x5 album for the lady. There was a flower girl who was about 4 years old, and when I took her picture, she randomly held the bouuqet up to her nose to sniff it and gave me these HUGE puppy eyes.

I saw it and it screamed ONLINE SLIDESHOW FTW.

So if I installed this, would it interfere with the burner I already have in my laptop? How can I switch off one and turn on the other?

oh, if you have a laptop you'd need something like this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151143R

unless you wanted to buy a usb adapter--which would prolly be cheaper, but more trouble

Hallelujah. Made it work with just 3 CDs left.

Next step is to buy a new printer ( ?topic=525985 ) so I can put the photo stickers on the CD correctly. The printer is acting up and won't align the print job correctly, so the circular sticker cut line is not in line with the image that I designed to go on the cover. Kinda sucks because I just bought b/w and color ink for the thing, too. I think it's the rollers.

^ so this is what it says on there

I'm not too technically literate, obviously, but is this basically a burner?
