Was this one of those narrow 2 lane roads with no shoulders?
I definitely don't see anything good about running bike riders off the road, but I have to agree that some people do it in the worst fucking places. It's way too dangerous in most parts of Raleigh.
Hopefully Raleigh will consider improving that by adding a 3-4 ft bike lane in wherever they can. It's not something I want to encourage biking so much as I want it to keep cars and cyclists separate. It's too dangerous as-is and causes unnecessary traffic delays. 6/17/2008 8:28:23 AM |

what pedestrians and bicyclists don't realize is that they are not match for a car. sure they got the right of way, but if they get hit, no matters whos fault it is, they either die or are hurt really badly. i always respect cars in when i am in either situation. 6/17/2008 8:58:03 AM |
