I'm debating on getting either accord or altima.
looking to spend under 25k for 4 cylinder coupe manual.
I will be driving 30 miles to work everyday.

efficiency, responsiveness, comfort, and resale value.. which one is better?

I drive about 50 miles a day round trip. Have an 8yr old 6cyl accord. with over 150k.. still drives nice. 29mpg. Part of me wants it to die to give me a reason to buy another.. but it keeps tickin. (hope i didnt jinx my baby)

You can probably get a 1 yr preowned certified with a longer warranty and cheaper.

I just bought a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe. I really like it. Hondas have a great resale and residual value because they aren't rented through companies like Hertz , etc..

I got my car in automatic, just because it's a commuting vehicle, and it's very snappy and responsive. I really recommend it.

Here's a video about Accord Coupe vs. Altima Coupe. Edmunds favored the Honda:

I'm biased because I think Infiniti is better than Acura...way better.

^Good thing this thread's about Honda versus Nissan, not Acura vs Infiniti

Man, to hell with Honda. For the last 5 years they've shit on the heads of sports enthusiasts loyal to the brand. But their build qualitiy, reliability, and handling is superior to that of Nissan.

My next car will probably be an S2000, but otherwise I wouldn't think twice about another Honda.

I've never been convinced nissans don't get noticeably worse gas mileage then toyota and honda comparably classed cars.

I'd go with the Honda because everybody says they last forever whereas H8R says Nissans are some junk.

Nissans are some fuckin junk.

Honda>Nissan, any day of the week

or drive that single mom ride of an altima. i swear every single mother has one. they must come standard with baby seats in the back.
you'll lose your ass when you try and get rid of a used Nissan too

I've got a 2008 honda accord e-lx and it is awesome. I drove the accord, camry, and altima, and just all in all, pound for pound, the accord won it for me. In my driving, the accord was better on gas, and was just an all around better fit.

and for the record, I've always said mopar or chevy, but I really do like my accord.
