There's a scene in Dutch where after Ed O'Neill's character gets his ass beat by his girlfriend's son whom he's been tasked to go pick up from boarding school, they go to a diner to get some breakfast.
Because the kid's a little shit, he gets none.
After O'Neill's character is done with a good breakfast, he burps and says my favorite line, one that makes me laugh every time I think about it, is
"Nothing burps better than bacon. Your water looked tasty."
lol... seriously, I think I find that line funnier than everyone else on earth. Also, it's fucking DUTCH. A wholly underrated movie.

I've always thought that was the funniest and most memorable part of the movie.
I've heard people quote it before, so it's not *that* obscure. 6/20/2008 10:18:31 AM |

Swingers: In the beginning, Jon Favreau's character Mike is checking his messages. While he's calling Trent (Vince Vaughn), the answering machine is giving him advice and says, "are you calling her?" Mike says to "shut up" or "go away" or something like that, and when the camera pans back to the table the answering machine was placed on, the answering machine isn't there.
I think it's absolutely hilarious...I know it's a prop error, but I'll be damned 6/20/2008 10:53:07 AM |

i had to see titanic in the theater 4 times
the girl i was dating at the time got really pissed that i laughed at one scene when she was crying and made me go see it again until i could sit through it without laughing at that one thing
one of the scenes when the boat is perpendicular to the water, there's one dude who falls, hits the propeller with a *DING* and starts spinning
i kept losing it hardcore in the theater
but hey, i was like 16 and she was hot, 6/20/2008 10:56:31 AM |
