How can I find out if a course credit will transfer from another school? I tried searching for topics on TWW and on the ncsu website but couldn't find anything.

call the registrars office of the school your transferring to and they will tell you if/what it stands for and if it does.

The first link is a PDF containing which classes transfer and what they transfer as from community colleges

The second link is to look up courses by institution and what they are equivalent to at ncsu
