Mine (broke ass Pepperoni Ramen):
-Boil beef Ramen in some water (1/2 noodle and 1/2 water) -Mix in tomato paste, stir in thoroughly -Put diced pepperoni under broiler, heat till browned and boiling -After Ramen comes to boil, turn off heat, stir in beaf flavoring + extra buillon, onion powder, garlic powder, lime powder, lemon juice, crushed oregano (just pour it into your palm and mash your hands together over the pot) -Stir until thick, drop in the pepperoni -Add canned grated Parmesan, or grate it yourself over the pot (cover surface thoroughly), stir in, let melt

hmmm.... BBQ chicken for me.
Couple nice, thick, fresh chicken breasts (boneless). Marinate in cheap white wine, mcCormick grillin' rub, seasoned salt, & Texas Pete. (2-3 hrs) After marinated partially butterfly and stuff full of favorite cheese (I like Monterrey Jack) Get grill to 350-400, apply chicken
Sauce: cup or so of brown sugar 1/4 cup of honey 1/4 stick of butter, melted equal parts to favorite bbq sauce (we get KC Masterpiece from Costco, fav. is honey bbq from foodlion)
Apply sauce liberally to chicken. Cook 4-5 minutes (not done on that side intentionally) & flip. Apply sauce. Cook 8-10 depending on thickness & flip to finish bottom side cooking Apply sauce.
Kill grill (when done) & apply remainder of sauce Top with a cheese (garnish). Let remaining heat in grill melt cheese.
Sit for 2-5 minutes (rest/cool) and enjoy! I like it best with a nice carbohydrate side (maybe pasta salad) and some homemade yeast rolls (grandma FTW.) 6/26/2008 12:57:29 AM |

I cook a decent amount...
Here's another: California style burritos
Cook hamburger or chicken via taco packet directions... Black beans (fresh=better, but need the night before to soak) Rough Chop Romaine hearts Rough Chop Roma tomato --Add white vinegar, parsley, oregano, garlic, olive oil for a rough salsa --Add red pepper flakes or crushed jalapeno to taste Fresh Cheese (I like super sharp cheddar for its bite here) & a handful of Feta Cheese
Combine ingredients on a 18" Tortilla (mexican store) or 12" (normal grocery).
1 makes an awesome meal for on-the-go, wrapped in a good burrito it won't make a mess. 6/26/2008 1:06:38 AM |
