Well, the neighborhoods are more diverse here

My family was one of 3 black families in my neighborhood in charlotte when we moved in

There's a difference between the 2 - compared to DC, I just don't see too much "mixing" down there

NC has a long way to go

I'd prefer for it to not appear like THIS neighborhood is for whites people, THIS is for blacks, THIS is for hispanics.

That's how it was in Charlotte when I lived down there

But no, I'm not uncomfortable around white people
