I have been craving sushi all day, are there any good places near the State area where I can get some decent sushi takeout? Can I call first or do I need to wait there for it? 6/28/2008 6:30:00 PM |

I thought sushi tsune was good for take out. We went there and waited for them to make it, but it wasn't bad for quick sushi. 6/28/2008 9:31:42 PM |

Kanki, i get sushi take-out from there all the time, you could call... the online menu isnt as extensive as the one in the restaurant so I would just go there and order, walk around the mall a little then come back, I usually wait 15-20 mins
always good
may i suggest...
spiral ecstasy roll (like a rainbow roll) dragon roll (eel) budokan roll (tempura... I dont remember the fish in it :/ but its dammmmnnn good, very rich)
I also like the sashimi and usually get mackerel but pretty much all the sashimi is good
uh... those are pretty much my favorites, the captain nemo and like deep blue sea? im not sure if thats it but its close to the name, all those are good too.
and now i have put way to much effort into this post

Don't go to Waraji, it's so over priced. Their sushi is good, but you can do better at that price. Also they have a very limited sushi menu compared to other places. 6/29/2008 10:34:46 AM |

Totally worth the extra drive.
The owner of Waraji is opening another restaurant in downtown Raleigh this year...WHOO HOO
There is a excellent sushi place in Wakefield Planatation area called Hiyashi. It is reasonably priced but it is a hell of a drive. But awesome sushi and atmosphere!

^^ He is? Nice! ^^^ Honestly, Waraji's main focus isn't sushi, and that's why their menu is so limited and why it's expensive compared to other places. They have some awesome donburi there. 6/29/2008 9:22:03 PM |
