I just put down part of the deposit on a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom place just blocks from NCSU. It's on the corner of Dixie Trail and Fowler Ave. The lease will start on July 7th but I need 3 other roommates to send in applications by Thursday July 3.

Rent is $350/month each + utilities.

God I feel sorry for you for renting this property. We talked to NC State student legal services. They say she is the worst landlord they have ever dealt with, and that is exactly the experience we had. This landlord will screw you over at every chance she gets. Consider your $500 per person security deposit gone.

A landlord holding a security deposit is required to keep it in a trust account, and they almost never do. You could always ask for proof that the sec dep was held in trust
