where you lob a variety of weapons against your opponent on a 2d map (with elevation and such) and you could cause damage to the terrain which could either cause your opponents cannon/tank fall some and take damage or help blast your way to a better projection...

i can't remember the name of it...

there were a number of names it went by but the most common i think was scorched earth.

humm, I remember the game of which you speak. I will try to remember the name.

Was it a nuclear war type game that had options such as the big boy?

I've been looking for a certain game since I played it in middle school, and I can't for the life of me find it

and it's not scorched earth

the one i'm speaking of was a top down view, not a side view

anyone want to play worms on xbox live?

I liked worms armageddon where you could get the worms with different accents depending on what country they were from, I personally liked the Rastafarian.
