to ask if i have eaten lunch yet. per usual we typically pick up something for the other.

this time she has a video up of a prostate patient getting radioactive seeds forced into his rectum in some effed up surgical treatment. brilliant.

it's called implant radiation therapy. my grandfather had it done when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. they inject radioactive pellets into the prostate at strategic locations. the pellets release radiation over time, killing the cancer and preventing it from coming back.

My dad was thinking about getting the seeds for his cancer but he got proton beams instead

Like a proton beam ZCHOOOOOOOOOP...sucked me right in
