well, a couple of problems:

a) i live in cary, dnl lives off avent ferry (i think). i'm not gonna go deliver a tie.
b) he doesn't have a car, and it's not exactly practical to walk to cary

when in doubt, always buy a nice white shirt and black pants. you can always mix it up with ties, belts, shoes, etc... but white button ups are a must.
