Two questions always enter my mind:

1) What would I not buy at a certain price, that this will bring into what I feel would be an appropriate opportunity cost?
2) What did I need that I couldn't otherwise afford?

If you don't find anything that matches that criteria, move on.

1.) Been wanting a larger knife
2.) Got a promo code, so I figured I'd use it while I've got it
3.) It's my fucking money, not yours, so stfu.

stormwater engineer. so in the office mostly, but typically on site visits, I'm going through the woods/high grass. I could've used something bigger than a 2 3/4" pocket knife in those cases...

I have no idea why they made that. It's like they decided to take a tiny flashlight and add a tiny knife to it.

I prefer this one.

Assisted Opening is the way to go. Its awesome.

I got a Columbia River Knife & Tool knife that was like $150. Its assisted opening. I LOVE it, its so bad ass.

Its the top one:

The one you picked resembles the Gerber Paraframe, IMO. Which is not a bad thing, I have that one too.

I picked up some new cutlery last week. Found a pre-production Benchmade 773 and a Bali Song for $80 total.

I didn't pay for it, it was a gift. The person who bought it for me was pissed to find the same knife for $80 at Gander Mountain.

^^I looked at those. I'd love to have it, for when I need it. But I don't know if I'll be needing that for a while.
