I thought you couldn't use those on Jordan lake because it was a drinking water reservoir for the Town of Cary.
Maybe I'm wrong. From the NC Division of Parks & Rec website:

I guess call them and see if they will rent jet skis.

most jet skis are 2-cycle, whereas most boats are 4-cycle.
