Interested in primary daily drivers here...not every car you've bought/sold. I'll post mine a little later.

89 Dodge Spirit Turbo I (2.5L I4 Mitsu turbo) in this silver

was my dads dd from 90 until 98 when he got promoted and got a company car. he drove it once a week until 2000 when i got my license. totaled 6 months later when some asshat turned a stop sign the wrong way and a woman hit me. the passenger sued me 22 months later.

99 Mazda Protege DX

replacement for the spirit. my car is forest green with clear corners, factory fog lights and no spoiler or that goofy looking bug guard. 5 speed with no power options. its a great beater, i have put almost 100k on it since i have had it with no problems except a new clutch (i learned to drive on the first one) and a busted intake hose. it has big city war wounds (tons of dings) from assholes. was garage kept from 99-02. has a new hood, bumper cover and radiator support from a lovely incident here in atlanta.

First

I had different rims and no fog lights, but otherwise the same

Second

Great little truck, until I killed it

Third

Very reliable. Was happy when somebody killed it for me

Current

Dig it, not so hot on the mpg tho.

Next: TBA... (thinking about Mazda3 Mazdaspeed, Civic SI or VW Rabbit)

First: 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4wd (black)

Only my car had these wheels:

I learned to drive in it when I was 15, drove it up through my freshman year in college (I didn't drive freshman year because my parents lived in Cary, so they'd give me rides home to get laundry and to do the family dinner night stuff, just because it was cheaper than buying a parking pass, lol). After freshman year it was decided I needed something safer. This car was given to my brother, at which point it was driven into a pole and the beautiful chrome front bumper was ruined. We repaired it and sold it (and after we repaired it the fog lights caught on fire).

Second: 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 2wd (light green)

Basically it was that car exactly, only mine has tinted glass in the rear. The new car has airbags, but no ABS, and no 4wd. It does tend to run a lot better than the old one though, so I suppose that's a safety feature. Still, I kind of don't like the thing and would like to trade it in for something more efficient, but now it's being so reliable and has so few problems that I don't want to jinx that by switching to a different car.

This is an easy one for me.

First: 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport

Got it when i was 15. It was completely stock. That picture is pretty much what it looked like even though you can't see much of the front end mods. I drove that all through high school and all four years of college. I was planning on keeping it after i got my current vehicle. but one costly wrong turn during a visit to raleigh last christmas left me with a totalled piece of my heart.

Now: 2007 Ford F150 King Ranch

bought in november 07. This isn't mine (pics were lost in Nael's ordeal) I'll upload some i took this weekend towing my new toys.

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee (still have and daily drive)

1991 BMW 318is (still have and daily drove up until a week ago when I dropped it off at my parents' house)

1988 BMW 325is (Callahan's old car, traded it to Nick for Chris' car (think his tww name was scottyc))

1993 BMW 332is (almost done fixing it. thought it needed a new head gasket, but it was a small leak in the head between the sixth cylinder and coolant passage, sent it to t-hoff to get taken care of. hopefully i will finish putting everything back together and fixing a few problem areas in the next day or two)

1971 Cutlass Supreme. 350 Rocket, TH350. stock except for dual exhaust and a little stereo. Nice clean original car (had like 95k miles on it when I got it). Did have the seats reupholstered and the headliner replaced.

1991 Maxima SE don't have a picture of it, but it looked just like this). stock. auto. Bose stereo. Sold my Cutlass when I went to college (needed something more reliable); bought this car from my parents for a good deal (paid them what I got for the Cutlass, which was a couple thousand less than the Nissan was worth). Balled it up during my 2nd year at NCSU--I went over the top of a hill on Highway 98 between Durham and Wake Forest and there was a pickup stopped in the middle of the road. The road was wet and I couldn't stop...the Maxima was totally destroyed; the pickup fled the scene (even though it was at least legally my fault). It had 177k miles on it and looked and drove just like brand new.

1995 Wrangler. 4cyl/5spd. little shackle lift and 31" rubber. put a decent stereo in it. Kept it for about a year after I graduated NCSU, blew up the AX5 tranny with 115k miles on it (while cruising at a steady speed on the interstate). Sold it just before I moved from VA to WA (I had this, the Miata, and the S2000 at the same time for a little while!)

1990 Miata. fully built long-nose 1.6 (forged pistons and rods, bored .30 over, stiffer valvesprings, ported and polished head, slightly lower compression, ARP studs, etc). 3" TBE. FMII turbo kit turned up to 17 psi. Wahlbro 255, 550cc injectors, big FMIC. Torsen diff from a 1.8L car. Hard Dog bar. Wilwood front brakes, 2g Miata sport rear brakes. Tokico springs, KYB shocks. Mean ass little sports car. Made about 250 rwhp...spun through 1st, 2nd, and on hard shifts into 3rd.

oh, and MB Quart components...don't remember what amp or deck.

2001 S2000. Comptech aftercooled SC kit and Comptech cat-back (never dyno'd it, but they make right at 300 rwhp on a dynojet, plus whatever little bit I got from the exhaust). 18" Fikse wheels. Canton component speakers, JL Audio 10" sub in the trunk. Don't remember what amp.

2001 330ci. 5spd. Harmon-Kardon audio. stock.

2006 Evo IX. Sun/sound/leather package, HID lights. stock.

1995 Ram 2500 4x4. V10, 5spd (or 4spd+granny, really).

87' Toyota Celica. Awesome gas mileage.

95' Toyota Camry. This car had been wrecked and repaired, I probably should not have bought it because it crapped out on me.

06' Toyota Camry. I did not really want another Camry, not even a Toyota, not even a brand new car. I wasn't in a car-buying mood (I was trying to save money), but previous car died so I had to do something, and they were moving out 06's for the 07's (which look much better) so I got it on the cheap. It's been a great car though.

First Car. Bought it on a whim because I literally didn't know what I wanted. I never saw one on the road ever. Now I see them all over the damn place Great car though for what it was worth. Never gave me any trouble, well, except one time when I got busted doing 106.x in a 60

Sold the probe to fund this:

Got married, included this into the family. I drive it occasionally. GREAT MPG 1.6l HORRIBLE ACCELERATION from the 88hp 4 cylinder

This really isn't another car, but damn does it feel like a totally different animal.

First - 75 Mustang (i was 15 thought it was cool, looking at it now it was hideous) couldnt find a pic
but mine was white.

1977 CJ-5, was kind of community property for my brother, father, and myself. Drove it all through high school in various stages. This pic was the final result.

1980 Mercedes 500se until it died. Mine was light blue, cant find a pic.

1989 Bronco II (red) - absolutely hated this car, always breaking down. cant find a pic

1990 RX-7 - loved it

2004 STi - only had it about a year, too much "hey look at me"

2005 F150 5.4 - loved it, sold it when i bought my house

1997 Firebird Formula -ehh who knows, didnt like it as much as i thought i would

1995 Bronco (currently own - great for 4x4 and work around the house)

2008 Pontiac G8 GT - absolutely love this car, wife is making me keep it for 6 years, no more changing cars every couple years. lol

Kinda crazy going through that many cars. Yikes.

I've had fairly reliable cars, so my history is boring:

'87 Supra N/A - After 250K miles, too much work to be done, so gave up on it. Sold to some asian kids. Probably all riced up now.

'04 WRX - Purchased right out of college... plan on keeping for the next 10 years.

1979 Chevy Malibu. Daily driver 9/1996 - 1/2001, still have it though it hasn't run since 2001 and has been in storage the past couple years. Bought new by my grandfather, given to my mom, given to me.

1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria LX. 3/2001 - 8/2001. Nice car in GREAT shape. Killed prematurely by an engine fire. I miss it sometimes.

1991 Honda Accord LX. 9/2001 - 8/2002. Reliable transportation if not exciting. My dad bought it from me and drove it until earlier this year, when an accident put it out of commission with 199K on the clock.

1982 Chevy Malibu Classic. 9/2002 - 11/2004. Slow, rough, and cheap, but solid. Repaint made it look in better shape than it actually was, but it got me around with minimal investment needed.

1996 Lincoln Mark VIII. 11/2004 - 10/2006. First car I made payments on. Comfortable, smooth, fast, and good-looking. Loved this car. Killed by an accident 10/18/2006, and I still miss it.

2003 Mercury Marauder. 11/2006 - present. Huge, uncommon (less than 1,500 made in silver), easily mistaken for a cop car, 300+ horsepower, nice dose of attitude. Thirsty (I average around 18 mpg) but I like it.
